Dear Thupten Phuntsok La,
I have been directed by His Holiness the Dalai Lama to express his appreciation to your updating him about the progress in the work of Manjushree Yidyapith. His Holiness was pleased to have been able to visit your Institute in 2003 and to see personally how the Institute is assisting the orphans, the disabled and destitute children. His Holiness appreciates the management for keeping him informed of your work and commends you and members of the staff for your dedication and exemplary work.
His Holiness would like to stress on the importance of providing all children, especially the poor and needy, with the necessary resources and the opportunities for education.
